Texas Community College Technology Forum

On November 15th, a team from A&M-Commerce presented at the Texas Community College Technology Forum in Frisco Texas.  This event was held at the Collin College Conference Center and featured several sessions covering a wide array of topics.

Dr. Pamela Webster and Dr. Ka Sai Un from Mathematics, along with our Instructional Technology Coordinator Jeremy Gamez co-presented a session titled “Using Technology to Enhance Blended and Virtual Learning.”  They highlighted several technology tools and how they are using them in their online and blended learning environments.  From Adobe Connect, Camtasia, and smart pens, the team offered viewpoints on the pros and cons of each, also sharing best practices for implementation.  The session had over 50 attendees and a very engaged audience full of questions.

We’re so proud to have the university represented in such a positive fashion.  Congrats to the team!
