The “Improving Your Online Course” (IYOC) workshop explores the QM Rubric and provides a framework to improve the quality of online and blended courses. Participants use the QM Rubric to review their own courses and develop a course improvement plan.The content is based on the 21 essential Specific Review Standards of the Quality Matters Rubric. Participants come away with a plan for course improvement, so enrolling in the workshop with an online or blended course with a pre-developed course is required.
The CFEI is offereing incentives for fulltime faculty who teach online or blended courses to complete the IYOC online course from QM. The center will cover the cost of registration. With successful completion, faculty will receive a $500 stipend. Forms and details to register are located on the CFEI website or by contacting Greta Spradling.
