Today we had several faculty members from the Math Department, as well as a few from Literature and Languages, attend a session on SMART Notebook 11 in our training lab. SMART Notebook works hand-in-hand with PowerPoint presentations, allowing annotation features galore. You can even save your annotations for future reference.
SMART Notebook works with SMART boards as well as SMART podiums. We’re starting to see some greater interest in both devices. Check out our recent write up of the SMART Podium to view some of its capabilities.
We’ll be offering more SMART training sessions over the fall so be sure to check our schedule of training. We also offer one-on-one training if you prefer.
This event kicks off a week long training feast at the Faculty Center for Teaching with Technology. Feel free to stop in for any or all of our mini sessions!
