SMART Podium Interactive Display

 

What Is a SMART Podium?  An interactive display panel that allows digital annotative abilities using a pen stylus. It works with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and PDF.  Using the accompanying SMART Notebook software, instructors can also annotate web pages.

SMART Podiums were recently installed in 3 classrooms in the Business Administration Building.  Below are training dates hosted by the Faculty Center for Teaching with Technology where instructors will have hands-on sessions to learn and experiment with the technology.

 

SMART PODIUM TRAINING

This session is to explore the new Smart Podium and Crestron Control System that is located in the McDowell Administration Building (BA 106, BA 109 and BA 221). This informative hands-on class will show you the basics of Smart Notebook 11, it’s features, utilization of the projector, and controls using Crestron.

 

The location and times are as follows:

Tuesday November 5th at 2:00pm to 4:00pm (BA 221)

Wednesday November 6th at 8:00am to 10:00am (BA 221)

Monday November 11th at 1:00pm to 3:00pm (BA 221)

Friday November 15th at 8:00am to 10:00am (BA 221)
