MyLeo Online Training Begins!

Starting with a limited engagement tomorrow, November 1st, and continuing department-by-department for the foreseeable future, the Office of Academic Technology is proud to announce we’ll be beginning MyLeo Online (D2L Brightspace) training. The training comes in four hour-long parts that flow together to create a holistic view of the new learning management system that all of us will be using in Fall 2018.

The first hour will be spent getting oriented in the system and discussing the various communication tools that are available in MyLeo Online. Next, we’ll talk about creating accessible content for all learners. Activities such as assignments (dropbox), discussion boards, and quizzing will come next, and we’ll round out the day by talking about the gradebook and guiding faculty in how to set that up.

If your department doesn’t already have a training scheduled with our office, don’t worry: they will soon! We plan to get to every department in due time, and offer additional trainings on each of these components to ensure our faculty are well-equipped for the move to MyLeo Online (D2L Brightspace).
