The Journal of Bullying and Social Aggression is designed for researchers, scholars, and educators to present papers/research/information about bullying and social aggression at the national and international levels.  The publication is in response to a growing emphasis on evaluation and accountability for bullying and social aggression around the world.

The Journal of Bullying and Social Aggression is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary resource for the discussion of any and all matters related to bullying and social aggression in society.

The primary purpose of the journal is to provide opportunities to discuss issues guiding, impacting, and transforming bullying nationally and internationally.  Innovative projects reported are at the cutting edge of progress and provide insights into ways and means and practices to combat bullying in society.

Uniqueness of The Journal of Bullying and Social Aggression:

The Journal of Bullying and Social Aggression is the first and only refereed journal of its kind in the world.  It is international in scope and purpose and is available online.   Research papers published in the journal are clearly and firmly rooted in solid methodologies, both quantitative and qualitative.

All materials in the journal serve as original contributions to the growing body of knowledge in the burgeoning field of  bullying and social aggression.  Typical authors of papers published in the journal include researchers, educators, practitioners, scholars, university faculty, and educational administrators.

Submission

Manuscripts must submitted electronically. The Editor will receive all submitted manuscripts.  Each document will be recorded in a submissions database and an acknowledgement letter will be sent to the author (or first author).

Provided the manuscript is suitable for the chronicle, all identifying information will be removed from the manuscript and each article will receive a preliminary edit by the Editor-in-Chief.  Depending on the type and subject matter of the manuscript, the article will then be sent to a panel of reviewers.

Format

Timely reviews of reports and books of interest are considered for publication. All papers, including figures, tables, and references must conform to the specifications contained in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th edition, 2009) available from APA, 750 1st St., NE, Washington, DC 20002 USA.  All papers should contain a single-spaced abstract (on a separate page) not exceeding 250 words. Manuscripts should be 15-25 pages in length. Additionally, papers may not be submitted in HTML format; they must be Word docs or .RTF files. Any document received without this specified formatting will be returned for correction.
