Yinan Wang (MFA Visual Communication 2014) was invited to speak at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in Tianjin, China about similarities and differences in the undergraduate graphic design education in China and the United States.
Rick Gavos (MFA Visual Communication 2012) was recognized at the international AIGA (Re)design) Awards 13 for his thesis topic, The Sustainable Design Office.
Susanne Larkin (MFA Visual Communication 2011) presented her thesis topic Multi-Sensory At-Home Learning Reinforcement for Elementary Students with Dyslexia resulting from her collaborative effort with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children at the 2012 43rd Annual International Visual Literacy Conference.

3D Design Fashion Show
The 3D Design Class in the Department of Art hosts its Fashion Show in the amphitheater at Texas A&M University-Commerce. This class was taught by Josephine Durkin, Associate Professor of Art, and Graduate Assistant, Debbie Falls.
